Wildwood Manor / Lone Oak real estate is primarily made up of medium sized (three or four bedroom) to large (four, five or more bedroom) single-family homes and townhomes.  The  median real estate price is $694,067. Demand for real estate in Wildwood Manor / Lone Oak is considerable, one reason why there is a fair amount of new construction with prices starting in the low one millions. Impressive about this community is the ratio of adults here with a graduate degree or higher!!!

Bradley Hills Grove / Bradmoor

 Median real estate price being somewhere around the mid $700 thousands, Bradley Hills Grove /Bradmoor is primarily made up of medium sized (three or four bedroom) to large (four, five or more bedroom) single-family homes. The housing supply is very tight compared to demand, as well. Another highly educated community, it is a wealthy one as well, with many of its residents in government work, executive or managerial jobs, or the military.

Pooks Hill Rd / Rockville Pike

Median real estate price in this area being in the upper $200 thousands, Pooks Hill Rd / Rockville Pike is a densely urban neighborhood.  Its real estate is primarily made up of small (studio to two bedroom) to medium sized (three or four bedroom) apartment complexes/high-rise apartments and townhomes.. The housing supply is very tight compared to the demand for property here.

Unique about this community is the number of residents living alone, perhaps because it is friendly, quiet, retiree-friendly, and also very well-educated.. It, too, has a great amount of government workers as it is very close to NIH, Walter Reed, and Uniformed Services University. It is almost entirely dominated by large apartment buildings, a fact which  puts this neighborhood on the map as having the highest proportions of one, two, or no bedroom real estate of any neighborhood in=America.!

Timberlawn, Cedarwood ParkNorth

An urban-type neighborhood  actually located in Rockville, Maryland, North Bethesda real estate is primarily made up of small (studio to two bedroom) to medium sized (three or four bedroom) apartment complexes/high-rise apartments and townhomes. In fact, it has one of the highest number of ‘rowhouses’ in the country. The median sales price is in the $520 thousands, thus resulting in a tight housing supply.

It is a very educated  neighborhood which actually has a higher rate of adults with an advanced degree than 99+% of the neighborhoods in America!  Accordingly, it, too, is a wealthy community. Another  retiree-friendly community, it is peaceful and quiet while also offering a diverse range of housing options.

Maplewood/Alta Vista

Priced from $600K to $1.5 million, this community has shown substantial change as reflected by the amount of new construction. In fact, there is a community called Bethesda Mews which has begun building 30 new single family homes.

Near an often-used park which features a tot lot, a soccer field, tennis and basketball courts, the neighborhood also has the YMCA Bethesda/Chevy Chase within its boundaries and a very popular Turkey Chase 10K every Thanksgiving weekend.
